CC/Provider Resources

Wraparound Milwaukee service modifications include:

Resource and Referral Line (414-257-7607): The Children’s intake line will remain open in English and Spanish; however, it will not be answered live at this time. Staff will check voice mails and return calls during business hours. Staff will provide information, and resources to include Children’s Mobile Crisis and 211. Wraparound has adjusted the scheduling of new referrals. New referrals and screenings will be scheduled if deemed necessary by management. DSD continues to accept and schedule referrals at this time.

Screening and Enrollment (414-257-7607): Wraparound Milwaukee has modified screenings and enrollments for all programs that fall under the Wraparound umbrella, including: Wraparound, REACH, CCS, CORE and FISS. On a case by case basis, the director may allow a screening and/or enrollment of a youth that is deemed urgent.

Care Coordination Services: All face to face requirements have been adjusted. Care Coordinators will maintain contact via phone, text or an approved video conferencing format at minimum once a week for all Wraparound programs. Face to Face contact remains an option if deemed necessary and based on results of the wellness screening questions.

Children’s Mobile Crisis services (414-257-7621): Services are largely unchanged; staff will conduct screenings via phone to determine if a face to face is warranted and based on family’s preference. If a face to face is being considered, CMC staff will utilize the wellness screening questions.

Crisis stabilization Services: Crisis stabilization interactions may be conducted via phone, and in person with the use of the same wellness screening questions. In the event a crisis stabilizer feels face to face intervention is necessary, or more support is needed, he/she should contact the Children’s Mobile Crisis team for further guidance.

Wellness Clinic (414-257-7610): Psychiatrists/prescribers will be available via phone during regularly scheduled appointment times.  Clinic staff will contact families and care coordinators to verify appointments and notify them that the appointment will occur by phone. Psychiatrists/prescribers will contact the family and care coordinator at the beginning of the appointment time to conduct a conference call. In person appointments may be conducted on an emergency basis if authorized by Dr. Moisio, and prior to attending the appointment will be asked a series of health screening questions via phone. Refills will continue to be processed via phone, and hard copy prescriptions for certain medications will need to be mailed or left for pick up at the BHD front entrance. Refill requests will be processed within 3 business days.

Clinical/Therapy services: AODA and Psychotherapy services may be provided via phone or other telehealth modalities. The allowance is one session per family for one hour (to include documentation time) per week.  Note this may change as Wraparound receives guidance from the State of WI regarding changes to telehealth laws.
